About the exhibition

Canvas of Change examines the role of art in confronting urgent, intersecting human-rights issues: environmental degradation and the climate crisis, discrimination and belonging, colonialism, and migration. Through paintings, indigenous adornment, animation, and digital work created in ICAAD's Artivist-in-Residence program, the exhibition traces how these enduring crises shape marginalized communities, and how art can hold space for collective healing.
