Hate crimes are on the rise in the U.S., yet the full extent remains unknown due to severe underreporting. ICAAD’s Countering Hate initiative collects data to fill these gaps and improve existing documenting systems.

Using AI, we’re also tracking how hate crimes intersect with other human rights issues, including health and online discrimination.

With a better understanding of hate crimes and their impacts, we can better advocate for marginalized communities across the country.
